Ain't it nice? Getting spits and spats of rain outside just now.
Raining right now. Nice. Right before the skies opened up this afternoon, I could smell the rain coming. Nothing in the world like it!
We have had a glorious, rainy day today, with sprinkles being fairly steady, and REAL showers every now and then, replete with thunder and lightning. Ah, how sweet! Forecast for tomorrow calls for much of the same tomorrow. This may be a wonderful autumn yet.
Sun morn: My neighbor told us he got four inches overnight. My little lemon tree is full of new buds after having given up during the drought, so maybe we'll get a lemon crop in the spring.
Just between Saturday and Sunday, we've gotten about four and a half inches. I think you may enjoy those lemons next year, Mr. Loon, and hopefully I will enjoy figs. We have so much landscaping to do around this place, and did not even attempt it this year with the drought. Maybe next year will be our year.
